DIY time!

It is time to refresh the bathroom... There is talk of a re-do later in the future, but instead of planning and stressing over a total rehaul, I'm going to get out the old paintbrush....


The current bathroom is vertical wood panel which is totally different from the rest of the downstairs. It's also a bit dark as it is the bottom level of the house with no major sunlight source. If it were a tad brighter and fresher, it would be more inviting to guests to get ready in, as it is a really large bathroom, almost two whole bathrooms with a doorway in between.

Like all projects I have collected a few inspiration pictures along the way... I'm mostly interested in the wood panels in these images as opposed to the actual decor, as I'm not changing any fittings in the bathroom. The hard part will be choosing the colour to go with the existing fittings and downstairs of the house... time to collect some test pots!

I am not expecting my final project to look anything like the above images, however I do think it will make a dramatic difference... Watch this space!
